Bird of Prey Educational Program
Needs your help!
I am working with Ranger Monica Johnson to help raise funds and build the needed new aviary for the birds that are housed at the park. These birds are used for the Educational Program.
The birds have been injured and cannot be released back into the wild.
We will be having a meet the owl day at Kroger’s on August 23rd from 10:00 to 2:00.
Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the owl for a donation.

SPECIAL THANKS goes out to the Department of Health for allowing us to receive a grant to purchase new kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, PFD’s, and paddles this year. The Friends of Cumberland Mountain along with the Department of Health hope to encourage people to get outdoors and be active!
For the 2014 Summer boating season, ALL kayaks, canoes, & paddle boards will be FREE for the public to use. Specific boating programs will be offered for those who want a guided tour. Those are listed in the flyer below. All other times are self-guided.
We encourage everyone to come and take advantage of this opportunity. It’s for one season only!!
Life’s to short to stay indoors!! See you on the lake!
